These raven shaped cookies baked using Betty Crocker® peanut butter cookie mix and decorated using Betty Crocker® Cookie Icing serve as a perfect Halloween or fall dessert.

1 pouch Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
2 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
1 pouch (7 oz) Betty Crocker™ Cookie Icing black icing
14 small round silver decorator candies
2 tablespoons silver or purple sanding sugar
Black string licorice, cut into 2-inch pieces

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, cocoa, water, oil and egg until soft dough forms.
  • On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with 6-inch raven-shaped cookie cutter. On ungreased cookie sheets, place cutouts 1 inch apart. Refrigerate 10 minutes.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely.
  • Frost cookies with black icing. Press 1 round silver candy into each cookie for eye. Sprinkle silver sugar on beak. Attach licorice to cookies; sprinkle with sanding sugar.
