QUICK CHICKEN AND CORN CHOWDER image

1 cup loose packed frozen crinkle cut carrots
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1.5 cups milk
1-16.5 oz can cream style corn
1-14.5 oz can chicken broth
2- 5 oz cans chunk style chicken
1-2 oz jar diced pimentos drained
1/8 - 1/4 tsp pepper
Breadsticks

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, cook and stir carrots and onion in hot margarine or butter for 2 minutes. sprinkle flour over mixture, Slowly stir in milk. stir in corn , broth, untrained chicken, pimento and pepper. bring to a boil, reduce heat. Simmer for 3 mins Ladle into bowls. serve with breadsticks
