Pumpkin Bread II image

This is a good bread to serve on those lazy Sunday mornings.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 cups white sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice
1 ½ teaspoons ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
½ cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon baking powder

Steps:

  • Combine pumpkin, oil and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine the two mixtures, blending thoroughly.
  • Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans and bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 1 hour.
