Potatoes au Gratin-Bonefish image

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 pieces Potatoes
1-1/2 cup Heavy cream
1-1/2 tablespoon Flour
2 piece Garlic clove
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon cracked pepper
3/4 cup Grated sharp cheddar cheese
3/4 cup Grated gruyere cheese
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Peel and cube potatoes into ~3/4" cubes
  • In a mixing bowl combine cream, flour, garlic, salt, and pepper together with 1/2 C cheddar and 1/2 C gruyere cheese.
  • add potato to cream ixture and coat evenly
  • Grease 4 ~ 8 oz. ramekins or other oven-safe disheswith butter
  • Divide potato mixture evenly into ramekins, top with remaining cheddar and gruyere, and sprinkle with salt & pepper
  • Cover with foil and bake in 400 deg. oven for about 35 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake additional 15-20 minutes to allow gratin to brown and crisp
