1 cup Crisco shortening
3 cups sifted icing sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 cup butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients, except the sugar and beat well.
  • Add sugar gradually.
  • Beat for 10 minutes.
  • Ice and decorate your cake.
