This one of our family's favorites...so simple and easy that it can be whipped up in minutes and absolutely delicious!!! The flavor will knock your socks off, guaranteed!!! We have to always make a double batch because everyone eats more than their share!

Number Of Ingredients 3

4 - pork steaks (1/2" thick or more)
1 bottle(s) teriyaki sauce
4 can(s) pineapple juice (4 oz cans)

Steps:

  • Place pork steaks (1/2" thick or more) into zip lock bag...we usually have to ask the butcher to cut pork steaks as they are not placed in the case...looks like a big pork "T-bone" steak
  • Add 2 cans pineapple juice (the small 4 oz cans...come in 6 packs) to the bag containing the steaks
  • Add 1/2 bottle teriyaki sauce to bag, zip closed and rotate a number of times to mix the liquids
  • Double the above to make 8 steaks...allow marinade to work for 24 hours in fridge, rotating the bag in the fridge once or twice
  • Place on grill...don't cook well, but cook to medium...a hint of pink is ok...usually 10 minutes for the best shoulder cut of 12 ounces of 1/2" - 3/4" thick, 15 minutes for 1" thick (if 1" thick double the marinade time). With pork I always make a test cut to check doneness. Using a thermometer, 145° is perfect med rare with slight pink. Take off grill at 140° after flipping every 3 minutes and let rest for 5 minutes. 160° is medium.
  • Enjoy!!!!
