Pork Chops in Sour Cream Sauce image

Great with stuffing!

Number Of Ingredients 10

6 loin pork chops
1/2 c water
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp ketchup
garlic salt
1 Tbsp beef bouillon crystals
2 Tbsp flour
1/4 c water
1/2 c sour cream

Steps:

  • 1. Sprinkle pork chops generously with garlic salt and brown in large skillet. Add 1/2 cup water, brown sugar, onion, ketchup, and bouillon. Cover and simmer 30-40 minutes.
  • 2. Remove chops and keep warm. Combine 1/4 cup water and flour. Add to cooking liquid slowly but constantly stirring until mixture is thickened. Stir in sour cream. DO NOT BOIL.
  • 3. Serve chops with sauce on top.
