Pork Bbq dry rub image

Was looking for a good dry rub and made this on accident. It has a nice Smokey flavor and not as sweet as other rubs. Works very well on the Boston butt roasts. This recipe covered an almost 8 lb Boston roast and had some left over to use another time.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 Tbsp a.1. bold original dry rub
1/4 c kosher salt
1/4 c light or dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp regular or smoked paprika
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp pepper
2 tsp chili powder

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together well and store in an airtight container. Use as desired.
