Poppy Seed Quick Bread image

This makes a delicious breakfast bread that is both delicate and moist.

Number Of Ingredients 6

16 ounce(s) box yellow or lemon cake mix
3 ounce(s) pkg. vanilla or lemon instant pudding mix
1/4 cup(s) poppy seeds
4 large eggs
1/2 cup(s) vegetable oil
1 cup(s) hot water

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350^. Line bottom of 2- 8x5-inch loaf pans ,with wax paper ,then spray pan; set aside.
  • In your large mixer bowl combine the cake mix and pudding mix dry. Blend . Add the vegetable oil, and hot water.Mix well to blend. Add poppy seeds and eggs.
  • Beat mixture for 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour evenly into the 2 prepared pans. Bake for 45 minutes or until tested done with wooden toothpick.
