Pizza-Style Potato Skillet image

This one-dish meal cooks on your stove top and is packed with au gratin potatoes, veggies and great pizza taste.

1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 package (4.9 ounces) Betty Crockerâ„¢ au gratin potatoes
2 1/4 cups hot water
2/3 cup milk
1 package (10 ounces) frozen Italian green beans
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom pieces and stems, drained
1/3 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (2 ounces)
Grated Parmesan cheese, if desired

Steps:

  • Cook sausage in 10-inch skillet until no longer pink; drain. Stir in Potatoes, Sauce Mix, hot water and milk; stir in green beans and mushrooms. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
  • Cover and simmer 16 to 17 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese; pour pizza sauce over cheese.
  • Sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese. Cover and heat, without stirring, 1 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
