Pizza Dip image

Capture the flavor of pizza in a hurry with a colorful layered dip.

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup pizza sauce
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1 can (2 1/4 oz) sliced ripe olives, drained
1/3 cup finely diced red bell pepper
5 medium green onions, sliced (1/3 cup)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (2 oz)
1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
Colored tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Set oven control to broil. On 12- or 13-inch round ovenproof serving plate, spread cream cheese in thin layer. In small bowl, mix pizza sauce and garlic; spread over cream cheese. Top with pepperoni, olives, bell pepper and onions. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • Broil with top 4 inches from heat 1 to 2 minutes or until mozzarella cheese is melted. Sprinkle with basil. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
