This amazing cake is so good and kids love it. It is also very easy to make.

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, beat cherry jello mix, oil, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla into white cake mix until just combined, then pour into a greased 9 X 13 inch baking dish.
- 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
- 3. Place crushed pineapple, with juices, and halved cherries in a large bowl and combined. and sprinkle pudding mix on top,
- 4. Fold in cool whip and 1/4 cup cherry juice until smooth and combined.
- 5. Frost cooled cake and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours , covered, until set.
- 6. Can be made 2 to 3 days ahead
