How to make Pineapple Crumble

16 ounce(s) can unsweetened pineapple, crushed and drained
1/2 cup(s) light brown sugar
1/3 cup(s) ground walnuts
2/3 cup(s) matzo meal
3 tablespoon(s) soy or safflower margarine
- TOPPING INGREDIENTS
1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
2 - medium pears, peeled, cored, diced
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Combine filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and pat into a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Melt margarine in a skillet and remove from heat.
  • Stir in the remaining topping ingredients until evenly coated with the margarine.
  • Sprinkle evenly over the top of the pineapple mixture.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
