This is one of those "once in a while" recipes when you want something really good and really over the top. You could serve this with brunch or it also makes a really decadent appetizer.

Steps:
- Preheat broiler.
- Spray broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cut bacon strips in half.
- Wrap the little smokies with the halved bacon pieces and secure with toothpicks.
- Place brown sugar in a shallow bowl or pie plate.
- Drege smokies in brown sugar.
- Place smoky/bacon bundles on greased broiler pan.
- Sprinkle with remaining sugar.
- Broil until bacon is done and sugar has caramelized.
- Now, get ready to elbow everyone out of your way :).
