My husband was grilling steaks and I wanted to have some flavored butter on them. Instead of mixing several different herbs and spices with the butter, I decided to try the pesto that I already had on hand. We liked it - hope you do, too! (Cook time is actually chilling time.)

- 1. When butter is softened, stir in the pesto and parmesan. Add salt and pepper if desired.
- 2. Chill until firm. Serve on steak, potatoes, pasta, veggies, etc.
