Number Of Ingredients 3

8 Teabags
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Gallon of Water

Steps:

  • Begin by turning the faucet on and letting the water run until it gets really hot. Then fill up the container that is being used to make the tea. When the jug is filled, pour in one cup of sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the eight tea bags. To make the tea flavored use four regular tea bags and 4 flavored ones. Mixing the two keeps the flavor from being too strong. And now for the biggest secret to my sun tea....I don't typically use sun. I began making this tea a few years ago in the winter. I had to use the hot water to make the tea. If the idea seems a little strange to you, go ahead and stick the jar outside! Leave the tea sit for two to three hours depending on how strong you want it. Pour the tea over some ice and add a lemon slice if you'd like. Refrigerate the remaining tea.
