- Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain, rinse with cool water and set aside. In a large bowl, combine chopped egg, celery, and onion. Add cooked, drained macaroni and toss to mix ingredients well. In a small bowl, combine Miracle Whip, mustard, vinegar, sugar and salt. Pour over the macaroni mixture and stir to mix well. For best taste, refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
