Pecan Balls image

These melt in your mouth. You can also use ground almonds instead of pecans.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 c butter, softened
1/2 c powdered sugar
2-1/4 c flour
1 c ground pecans
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Combine first five ingredients in a bowl. Mix first with spoon, then by hand to work it until it holds together.
  • 2. Shape into small balls. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 3. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • 4. As soon as balls have cooled enough to handle, roll them in remaining powdered sugar.
