1 pound lump crab meat (check for shells)
!/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
1/4 cup miracle whip
1 slightly beaten egg
1 tsp prepared mustard
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
s & p to taste
1 Tbl chopped fresh parsely
2 Tbl chopped onion or 2 scallions finely chopped
3 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning

Steps:

  • combine all but crabmeat...gently fold in crab...form, by hand, into round cakes or use 1/3 cup measuring cup...if difficult to handle mix in more breadcrumbs slowly to just manageable...bake 350 degrees approx 30 mins or pan fry till brown...best to bake then put under broiler for short time till brown.
