Peanut Butter & Jelly Squares image

We never outgrow our fondness for PB&J! That's why these layered peanut butter & jelly treats are as popular with the grown-ups as they are with the kids.

1-3/4 cups chocolate wafer cookie crumbs
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. sugar, divided
6 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
2 Tbsp. cold milk
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
1/4 cup grape jelly
2 pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding
3-1/4 cups cold milk
2 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

Steps:

  • Combine wafer crumbs, 2 Tbsp. sugar and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, 2 Tbsp. milk and remaining sugar in medium bowl until blended. Stir in 1-1/4 cups COOL WHIP; spread over crust. Stir jelly until slightly softened. Drop spoonfuls over top of dessert; swirl with knife.
  • Beat pudding mixes and 3-1/4 cups milk with whisk 2 min.; pour over dessert. Let stand 5 min. or until thickened. Cover with remaining COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate just before serving.
