Steps:
- 1. Grease a 13X9 inch pan or baking dish with butter. Set pan aside.
- 2. Grease a large, heavy bottom dutch oven with 1/2 cup butter, leaving excess in dutch oven, add sugar and evaporated milk, and bring to a boil, stirring often, over medium heat.
- 3. cook, stirring constantly, until a candy thermometer registers 230 (just before soft ball state). Remove from heat; add peanut butter and marshmallow cream, beating with a wooden spoon until blended.
- 4. Work quickly, pour fudge mixture into prepared pan; cool and let stand until firm.
