PEANUT BUTTER APPLE COOKIE BARS image

I got this recipe from Heavenly Homemakers website. They satisfy the want for something sweet and peanut buttery. Yummy!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 c butter, melted
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c creamy peanut butter
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking chocolate, semi-sweet
1/2 tsp salt
2 c whole wheat flour (i used freshly ground)
1 1/2 c apples, peeled and diced small

Steps:

  • 1. Combine the butter, peanut butter & brown sugar until creamy.
  • 2. Add eggs, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda & salt, stirring until well combined
  • 3. Mix in flour.
  • 4. Fold in apples
  • 5. Spread into greased 9x13 baking dish
  • 6. Bake at 350' for about 25 minutes or until set.
