Peanut Brittle Bars image

These are so easy and so yummy! You can also use pecans or butterscotch topping.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 c all purpose flour
1 c brown sugar, lightly packed
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c butter, cold
TOPPING:
2 c salted peanuts
1 c milk chocolate chips
1 jar(s) ( 12-1/4 oz) caramel ice cream topping
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda,and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Pat into a greased 15x10 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 2. Sprinkle peanuts and chocolate chips over warm crust. Combine caramel topping and flour; Drizzle over top. Bake 12-16 minutes longer or until golden brown and bubbly. cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
