This is easy and so good. It's a good dessert for company or taking to a pot luck dinner.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray or grease a 13x9 glass baking dish.
- 2. In a large bowl combine cake mix, 1 egg and softened butter; mix with a fork until crumbly. Set aside 1 1/2 cups crumbs for topping. press remaining crumbs in bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- 3. In a large bowl combine softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Mix with electric hand mixer on low until creamy. Set aside.
- 4. Cut drained peaches into 1 inch pieces and spoon over the baked crust. Spread the cream cheese mixture over peaches. Sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups crumbs over the peaches. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving. Serve with cool whip or ice cream. Store any leftovers in refrigerator.
