Peach Cake image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 Tbsp butter, softened
1 c sugar
2 1/2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 c milk
3/4 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
5 large peaches, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With electric mixer, blend first five ingredients.
  • 2. Spread in greased and floured 15x10" jelly roll pan, or 13x9" plus one 8" cake pan.
  • 3. Combine 3/4 cup sugar with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and sprinkle half of cinnamon/sugar mixture lightly over dough base.
  • 4. Arrange peach slices by rows on top of base.
  • 5. Sprinkle with remainder of cinnanmon/sugar mixture and drizzle melted butter over all.
  • 6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
