Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350. Sift flour and sugar into a bowl, and mix with the pecans and a pinch of salt. Stir in vanilla, and blend in butter until well-combined. Scoop out by rounded tablespoonsful and form into 1/4" thick rounds. Bake in middle of oven for 10-12 inches, until golden around edges. Coll slightly, then sift additional sugar on top.
