Pasta Masquerade image

They might be tricked into thinking you spent all day making this meaty pasta dish, but the truth is here in black and white. Prep time: 10 minutes.

1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
3 cups water
1 onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, shredded
1 zucchini, shredded
1 jar (24 oz.) CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
3 cups rotini pasta, uncooked
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Brown meat in large skillet.
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients except cheese. Bring to boil; simmer on medium heat 20 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in half the cheese; top with remaining cheese.
