Pasta Fagioli Soup Recipe image

Number Of Ingredients 15

1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 (30-ounce) jar Ragu Chunky Garden-Style Spaghetti Sauce with Mushrooms and Peppers
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
2 cups water
1 cup sliced celery
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 (10 ounce) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 can white great northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 carrot, shredded
1 About 1 cup cooked elbow macaroni

Steps:

  • 1. Cook first three ingredients in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain meat 2. Add spaghetti sauce and next nine ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add shredded carrots and macaroni. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
