PARMESAN STUFFED DATES WRAPPED IN BACON image

30 large Medjool Dates, pitted
5 ounces parmesan or Romano cheese, in chunks
30 thin slices of bacon
30 toothpicks, soaked in water

Steps:

  • Make a slit or opening in each date and stuff with a small ball or chunk of cheese. Wrap date with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a baking sheet and bake until bacon is crispy and date is hot, about 15 minutes at 350 F.
