Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops image

This is a recipe I tried from a cooking website. It was submitted by a member named Misslionheart. I tried this recipe and loved it! I'm posting it the way I made it and including my photo. If you love thick, crunchy, tasty, pork chops as much as I do, then you'll love this recipe!

4 1/2 thick, center-cut pork chops-boneless
1 c dried italian-style bread crumbs
3/4 c fresh grated parmesan cheese
2 large eggs
2 large cloves garlic-crushed
1/4 tsp each of salt & pepper
6 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin

Steps:

  • 1. Whisk the eggs in a pie plate to blend. Add garlic, salt & pepper.
  • 2. Place the bread crumbs in another pie plate.
  • 3. Place the cheese in a third pie plate.
  • 4. Coat the chops completely with the cheese, patting to adhere.
  • 5. Dip the chops into the eggs/garlic mixture, then coat completely with the bread crumbs, patting to adhere.
  • 6. Heat oil in a very large skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops, in batches if necessary, and cook until golden brown and the center reaches 150 degrees, about 6 minutes per side.
  • 7. I served this with your favorite side dishes!
