Pan Seared Sea Scallop with XO sauce image

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 large sea scallops
1/2 tsp curry powder
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp each butter and olive oil
2 Tbsp xo sauce
1/2 lemon juiced
chopped scallions for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Pat the scallops dry. Mix the curry powder with the salt and pepper and season the scallops on both sides.
  • 2. Add the butter and oil to a large skillet. Once the butter is melted sear the scallops about 2 minutes each side. Squeeze the lemon juice over the scallop.
  • 3. Remove the scallops to a plate and top with XO sauce and garnish with scallions.
