OVERNIGHT APPLE FRENCH TOAST image

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tblsp light corn syrup
4 granny smith apples peeled sliced 1/4 in thick
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
9 slices day old french bread
sauce
1 cup apple sauce
10 oz jar apple jelly
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves

Steps:

  • In small sauce pan combine brown sugar butter an corn syrup until thick. Pour into an ungreased 13x9 pan. rrange apple slices on top of the syrup. In mixing bowl beat eggs milk and vanilla.Dip frech bread in egg mixture and arrange on top of apples.Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from frig 30 minutes befopre baking and uncover. Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes or until top of bread is browned. Sauce Combine ingrediants and cook over medium heat until jelly is melted.
