I take this to summer pitch-ins for something different. It is a fun twist on slaw and the ramen noodles and almonds provide a great texture against the cabbage.

Steps:
- 1. Remove seasoning packets from ramen noodles and set aside.
- 2. Crumble ramen noodles.
- 3. In a skillet, over medium heat, cook noodles and almonds in butter until lightly browned. Set aside.
- 4. Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, soy sauce, and season packets from ramen noodles in a jar. Close, shake well, then refrigerate.
- 5. Immediately before serving, toss together noodle mixture, dressing, onions and cabbage.
