OREO BREAD PUDDING image

Everybody loves Oreos! Now how about Oreos in bread pudding! It doesn't get any better than this!

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 c day-old french bread, cubed
16 oreo cookies, coarsely broken
2 c milk
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/4 c butter, melted
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
whipped cream, optional

Steps:

  • 1. Mix bread cubes and broken cookies in a large bowl, set aside.
  • 2. Blend milk, sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla extract, pour over bread mixture, stirring to coat evenly.
  • 3. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart round casserole dish.
  • 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until set.
  • 5. Serve warm or at room temperature topped with whipped cream if desired.
