ORANGE ICE BOX COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. white sugar
1 C. Crisco (may use 1/2 butter)
1 egg
2 T. grated orange rind
2 T. orange juice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 C. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 C. almond nuts, sliced thin

Steps:

  • Mix in order. Makes 2 rolls. Place in refrigerator overnight. Slice in thin slices and bake at 350 degrees. 10-12 min. approx.
