- Set oven control to broil. In medium bowl, mix ground turkey, bread crumbs and half of the barbecue sauce. Shape mixture into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick. Place patties on rack in broiler pan.
- Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink and thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F.
- Meanwhile, halve onion lengthwise; cut crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices. Separate into half-rings.
- Heat 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 2 minutes. Stir in remaining barbecue sauce. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 5 minutes longer or until onion is wilted and sauce thickens.
- Place patties on bottom halves of buns. Top with onion mixture. Cover with top halves of buns. If desired, serve with additional barbecue sauce.
