Ole Buttermilk Pie image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 refrigerated pie crust
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons flour
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups buttermilk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Pierce pie crust with a fork all over, and prebake for 5 minutes. Whisk remaining ingredients together and pour into pie crust; bake 50-60 minutes till somewhat browned in the middle. Editor's Extra: You can whisk in a pat of soft butter and/or a teaspoon of vanilla to make a richer pie, but this one is a basic winner . . . any way you slice it.
