Old Fashioned Roasted Pecans image

Family favorite so be sure to make lots! Flavor gets better after being stored for awhile.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 eggwhite
1 Tbsp water
2 1/4 c pecan halves
1/2 c white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. oven @ 225 degrees. lightly grease baking pan. combine egg white and water in a mixing bowl; beat until fluffy. Fold in pecans to coat evenly.
  • 2. In a shaker, combine sugar, salt and cinnamon. Dust pecans evenly with sugar mixture; spread nuts in prepared pan.
  • 3. Bake in preheated oven until toasted and fragrant stirring every 15 minutes for about 1 hour. Cool on pan and store in airtight container.
