1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Steps:

  • cream peanut butter and shortening
  • add sugar until light and fluffy
  • add egg and sour cream
  • sift dry ingredients
  • add gradually to wet
  • just enough to blend
  • roll cookies into balls
  • using about 1 tablesppon for each cookie
  • flatten them out on ungreased baking sheet.
  • bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
