OATMEAL PUMPKIN SCONES image

Yield 9 large scones

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 1/2 cups unbleached white flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup large oats
1 T baking powder
1 level teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cold butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup pumpkin puree

Steps:

  • Mix dry ingredients, mix wet, cut butter into dry, add wet and knead very little. Cut and sprinkle with sugar. Bake on parchment at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes.
