Oatmeal craison cookies image

best soft cookies i ever created

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 box - yellow cake mix
1c - shortening
1 - large egg
1/4c - brown sugar, firmly packed
1tsp - cinnamon, ground
1/2tsp - cloves, ground
1tsp - vanilla extract
3/4c - chopped pecans
2 1/2c - old fashioned oats
1/4c - water
1 1/2 - sweetened applesauce
1c - craisins or raisins

Steps:

  • mix all ingredients, well, spray cookie sheet with pam by tbsp to pan 12 at a sheet, bake 350 for 10 mins makes 3-4 dozen very good
  • you can make carrot cake cookies follow same recipe but add 1 c shredded carrots, and 1 c applesauce and 1/2 crushed pineapple, and follow same baking 350- 10 mins 3-4 dozen cookies
