Steps:
- 1. In 3 quart pot heat canola oil and butter until butter is melted.
- 2. Add diced onion, pepper & celery & zucchini to the oil and saute until softened about 2-3 minutes.
- 3. Add garlic, worcestershire sauce, bay leaf, onion powder, mrs. dash, red pepper flake, salt and pepper. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes so flavors develop.
- 4. Add rice and bring back to a boil then turn down to a simmer for 5 minutes according to the box directions. Serve as a side dish with chicken, fish or seafood.
