Nelda's Baked Cajun Chicken Breast image

I wanted to try to cook breast on the bone in the oven that would be tender and moist so I gave this a try and everyone loved it. You could use any seasoning you wanted in the place of Cajun.

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 - bone in chicken breast
- cajun seaoning
- salt and pepper
2-3 cup(s) chicken broth

Steps:

  • Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper and Cajun seasoning. Pour chicken broth in a 9x13 baking dish add 1-2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning to broth and mix together. Place chicken in broth, cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes (depending on size of chicken breast, mine were very large) remove foil, turn breast over, turn oven to 400 degrees and bake another 15 minutes or until done( again depending on size).
