The best Clam sauce so everyone say's

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 can(s) large can of puree+1/2 cup water
1/2 c olive oil
3 chopped fine garlic cloves
1 tsp ground oregano
1=2 can(s) chopped clams(i use 2 but you can add one
1/2 tsp salt(you can add more if you like or less
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp garlic powder(optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Over medium heat, in sauce pan saute garlic cloves in olive oil till golden brown.Add Puree,water and clams stir well.Add the rest of the ingredients stir.Simmer for one -two hours.You can make a white sauce by omitting the puree and using a cup of water.DONT DRAIN CLAMs.
