Steps:
- 1. Grease and flour 13x9 pan and preheat oven to 325.
- 2. First: Cream together sugar, eggs, oil, vanilla, and carrots.
- 3. Second: Add remaining dry ingredients, use sifter. Mix well for 2 minutes.
- 4. Third: Pour into greased 13x9 pan at 325 for about 55 minutes, or until wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- 5. Beat together frosting ingrediants, EXCEPT NUTS, with handmixer (cream cheese and butter should be softened) SIFT POWDERED SUGAR. Frost cake when thoroughly cooled and sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
