MY BAKED BEANS image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 can pork and beans, drained
2 T. brown sugar, to taste
2 T. barbeque sauce
1/8 t. jalapeno powder
1/2 t. dried onions

Steps:

  • I NEVER measure this recipe so this are guesses. Sugar is done to taste. I start with 2 Tablespoons and add more if needed. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until thickened and warmed through. If the beans are still runny and it's time to eat, I mix about 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with just enough water to dissolve it and stir it in. This will usually take care of the situation. You can also microwave this recipe but just be careful you don't do it too long or the beans dry out and have a strange texture.
