MUSHROOMS PAPRIKASH image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 medium onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, diced
1 tablespoon butter
8 oz. white button mushrooms, cleaned and thickly sliced
3/4 cup sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons dry sherry
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and saute until golden and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook 5 minutes more. Stir in the sour cream, paprika, thyme, and sherry and coat the vegetables with the sauce. Cook together until the mushrooms are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve over buttered noodles.
