Mosaic Dessert Bars image

I'm think I'm going to make this for the 4th of July...double blue & double strawberry.

5 1/2 cup(s) boiling water
1 - 3 oz. package(s) strawberry jell-o
1 - 3 oz. package(s) lime jell-o
1 - 3 oz. package(s) lemon jell-o
1 - 3 oz. package(s) orange jell-o
2 env. - knox unflavored gelatine
1/2 cup(s) cold water
1 - 14 oz. can(s) sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Add 1 C boiling water to each flavor fruit gelatin mix in separate bowls. Stir at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Pour each flavor of gelatin into separate small shallow food storage container sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  • Sprinkle unflavored gelatine over cold water; let stand 1 min. Stir in 1 1/2 C boiling water. Add condensed milk; mix well. Cool slightly.
  • Cut flavored gelatin into cubes. Randomly place cubes in 13 x 9" pan sprayed with cooking spray. Pour milk mixture over cubes. Stir very gently, if necessary to distribute gelatin cubes. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  • VARIATIONS: The possibilities are endless....use your imagination!
