MOM'S VEGETABLE SOUP image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 onion
4 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 lb stewing beef
potatoes
carrots
fresh string beans
parsnip
turnip
2 cans stewed tomatoes

Steps:

  • Fill soup pot half full of water. Put whole onion into pot, celery, pepper, beef and cook about 30 min. While cooking, peel and cut remaining ingredients. Add to pot with tomatoes. Simmer 2-3 hours.
