MOM'S PUMPKIN CUSTARD PIE image

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 5/8 cup pumpkin
2 1/4 cup milk
3/8 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp
1 1/8 up sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 T. melted butter
3 T. brown sugar(optional)

Steps:

  • Scald milk, add butter. Stir all ingredients into pumpkin. Bake at 450 degrees F. for 10 mins, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 25 min. more. Prebake your pie crust.
